We’ve all heard this one before, “Is the glass half full or half empty?” What’s your answer? Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Do you look at the brighter side of things or do you gravitate towards the dark side? It’s a yes or no answer. We must view our lives with optimism. You’ve got to believe that it can get better before it can get better. It’s all in your state of mind. You have what you believe you have.
Sometimes we’re even focused on others glasses and not what’s in our own. We measure the amount that’s in our glass to the person next to us. Even if we have the exact same amount, we’re not satisfied. It’s all a matter of gratitude. Be thankful for the amount you have, not ungrateful for what you don’t have.
Optimism is the foundation of courage. –Nicholas Murray Butler
